The Tanzania Commission for Universities(TCU) have proved failure since its in-aguration in 2005. Recently, when the form six leavers were applying for their university studies, applications commenced early in april giving a deadline of up to june. The commission however gazetted that, some time in July selections would be released. surprisingly, it's now mid august no selections, something that arise more questions than answers to prospective university students. Baffling as it may seem, the commission on 14th Aug, released a long list of 2nd batch applicants before even it had released those selected under the first round.
Such tentative deeds proves how tired the commission is-therefore, should be purged off for efficient personnels to revamp the commission. Also the commission should publish an explanatory statement to why they take things locally, causing considerable embarasments to its clients.
