exclusive poem;

be the first to know..

JELOUS FOR   THE  WEAKED    By, Edwin Muga.
Courtesy costs nothing, indeed pennyless,
But it oinks the will  of  life.
The English adage, ‘’an idle mind a devil’s workshop,
Ooh yes, jealous, a grand enemy for human life.

Cain murdered Abel coz of  jealous,
And from then, he lead the forsaken life,
Forsaken by his Almighty.

Jealous can separate  us  from  the  eyes,
The eyes of  our  lord,
Can make you live  a hatred  life,
Yes, hated by  every  person.

A brother, sister, relatives even  your  friends,
Can abandon you coz of your jealous,
You never appreciate others,
Your heart swells, when others do the great  things.

You articulate ugly rants,
You alter  disparaging words  for defame,
You sweet talk them to their faces and bad mouth them behind their backs.
Who’ll value you if you cant take it yourself?
Do unto others az you would have them do unto you.

Jelousy stems from selfishness, yes, selfish, those with keen interests on their own affairs than any other.
Your throat is dominated by  dis heartening dords,
I remember, in a memory, yes, in my great memory,
When I asked for your advise, God only recalls what you mocked!

I could not help, keep in a silence pain, pains for a friend I entrusted 100%
Pains for losing a friend,
But that was not you, only  jealous,
Inflicting your head, like a crazy antelope in a met season.

People hate each other coz of jealous,
You can Coy and pretend, but jealous never hides!
Jealous stems from slight cardigans

I buy a car, then you feel jealous coz you’re with a bicycle,
Dat’s  bullshit!
I gain fame coz of my great things, you’re no body coz of your conservative mindset,
Tha’ts  stupid!
I lead a happy life coz of my struggle,
Yeah, struggling day and night, laboring,
You, just sitted, starring at like a loosy mechanic misplaced  his  nut..

Jealous poisons  human relations,
Jealous is  worse  than  a wild  beast.

Enthusiasm, honest, trust,
Try them right from today,
They’ll work  veritable miracles to your  entire life//

‘’I consider my  ability to arouse enthusiasm among the men, the greatest asset I posses, and the way  to develop the best that is in a man is by appreciation and encouragement,
There is nothing else that so kills the ambitious of a man as criticism from  his  the so called his  superiors. I never criticize any one, I believe in man incentive to work. So I am anxious to praise but loathe to find fault. If I like anything, I am heartily, in my approbation and lavish in my praise’’(Charles schwab).
We provide chips chiken, for energy to our friends, but we neglect to give them kind words of appreciation that would sign in their memories, for years like the music of the morning stars!!
‘’never should you be afraid of the enemies who attack you, be afraid of the friends who flatter you’’

Majirani wagomvi

Nywele zaibwa

Polisi nchini Brazil wamesema mwizi mmoja amemuibia nywele mwanamama mmoja wakati amesimama kituoni akisubiri basi.

Mwanamama huyo amesema, alikuwa akidhani mwizi huyo anataka kumuibia mkoba wake.
Polisi wamesema, huenda nywele hizo zimeenda kuuzwa, ili kutengenezewa nywele bandia.
Tembo ana magoti manne.

Jike na Dume wafunga ndoa;

be the first to know..

Harusi ya mbwa huko majuu;

Harusi

2011/12 BUDGET: Activists plead for reversal of taxing NGO's  Send to a friend
Monday, 13 June 2011 11:05
digg

: As Tanzanians continue to ponder the 2011/2012 budget unveiled last Wednesday, worries have mounted over plans to tax the non-governmental organisations (NGOs).

There had also been calls to trim the size of the government which, some analysts contend, was too big given the resources available to support it.
Mr. Peter Ahham, a civil society activist based in Arusha, said plans to impose taxes on NGOs and other similar bodies would derail their support to community development.
"Taxing the NGOs will be a misconception of the essence, reason and philosophy of their existence", he told The Citizen here on Friday, pleading for reversal of the plan.

He said contrary to perceptions of some people, the civil society organisations were not there to make money and that whatever they get from donors was directly channeled to community projects.

"If the government goes ahead with the proposal, then it will mean the essence of NGOs is not well understood by some technocrats in the government", he added.

Mr. Ahham, the director of the Arusha-based Multi-Environmental Society (MESO), said funds channelled to the civil society groups from abroad is often raised by well wishers and charitable bodies.

"These funds are primarily sent to support community projects.
At the end of the day, there is no profit made or dividend shared", he noted in an interview.

He argued technocrats in the government must appreciate the role of NGOs in advocacy, especially on matters touching development at grassroots levels and poverty alleviation.

He said the role of the civil society organisations is well articulated in the National Strategy for Growth and Reduction of Poverty (Mkukuta) because the plan in focused on pro-poor strategies.

The official wondered why the government was contemplating to tax the NGOs and yet continue to exempt corporate firms which rake millions of shillings a day in business operations.

During his budget speech read before Parliament on Wednesday, the Minister for Finance and Economic Affairs Mr. Mustafa Mkulo hinted that the government may impose taxes on NGOs.

"But why exempt corporate firms and think of taxing the people's institutions?" he asked, pleading for the Minister to shelve the plan, citing cases where NGOs support the disabled through charities raised abroad or locally.
Other officials of the civil society based in Arusha reached said the idea was not new as the suggestion had been made several times in the past by the government.

They affirmed they would continue to opposed any move to impose taxation on their activities.
However, many pleaded they were yet to get to the nitty-gritty of the new development from the recent Minister's speech.

An NGOs are legally constituted organisations that operates independently outside the government.
They have no government status although at times partially or totally funded by the state.

Also known as civil society organisations, the term is usually applied to groups that pursue wider social aim that has political aspects.

The number of NGOs operating in Tanzania can run into thousands but those registered under TANGO (Tanzania Association of NGOs) is said to be 632.

Many of them operate in different categories such as education, health, environment, pastoralism, human rights, good governance as well as those registered as professional associations.

Mr. John Bayo, the coordinator of ANGONET, an umbrella body of civil society groups based in Arusha, expressed his reservations when discussing the budget estimates.

He agreed with Mr. Mkulo's plan to increase tax collections from the traditional and new sources of income in order to achieve the set targets in 2011/2012 fiscal year.

However, he was pessimistic if the projections would be reached on the premise that tax collection and management was problematic in Tanzania.
"We have a problem in collection of taxes as well as management" he told The Citizen in an exclusive interview on the recently announced budget estimates.

He suggested the size of the government must be reduced to match with the available resources, saying there many ministers, deputy ministers, permanent secretaries and their deputies, among others.

"This is truly a burden to the state coffers. We don't need such a big government which drains the little resources we have", he pointed out.

He further suggested it was time the question of national debt is looked afresh and asked; "For how long have these debts accumulated and who was responsible.
"

Ms Charity Githinji, a sales and marketing manager with the Kibo Palace Hotel, implored on Tanzanians not to complain every time a budget is read.

"For me the budget is good if it is implemented. It is focusing on the farmers especially on production of food to feed our population", she explained.

She cited Mr. Mkulo's package to cut down government expenditure.
"Basically that suggested reduction on cost of fuel that works perfectly well for us because generally production costs would go down". she said.

But Mr. Andrew Malalika has some complaints to Minister Mkulo; the tourism and health sectors have not been given priority this time around as many had expected.

"Tourism is booming yes. But it has to be sustained through aggressive marketing abroad", he said, citing the America market, now the leading source of tourists to Tanzania.
Mr. Malalika, who is the director of Arusha-based Jackpot Tours and Safaris said the tourism sector should be given enough budget for tourism promotion and marketing.

Ms Beatrice Mnzava and Joseph Mayagila, both Arusha residents, said they have full support of Minister Mkulo's proposals on how to address the rising fuel prices.

They said for the first time, the government has shown it was serious with rural development by scrapping duties charged on tractors and other farm implements and inputs.

The duo's remarks were supported by Mr Hussein Msokoto, the chairman of Mererani Town Council (CCM) in Simanjiro district, Manyara region, who said the budget focused on assisting the poor.

But Fredy Kimambo, an entrepreneur at the famous tanzanite mining town contested that view, arguing the 2011/2012 budget estimates have not been geared to the welfare of the common man.

"We are yet to see something done on the fuel prices which must be addressed immediately.
This has not to wait till June 22nd", he stressed.

Mr.Paulo Loboyo of Partimbo village in Kiteto District called on the government to create a conducive environment for investors to construct earthen dams for supply of water to livestock and people in the semi arid areas.
But Mr. William Kivuyo, a programme officer with the Tanzania Intellectual Property Network (TIP - Net) said the budget read in Parliament on Wednesday was not very promising.

"The easier-said-than-done phrase applies here. The Minister has made many promises but implementation is a different thing", he stated.
Mr. Emmanuel Wangai, a businessman at Katesh in Hanang District, wondered why nearly one trillion shillings will be spent by the government in the 2011/2012 fiscal year on allowances.

"This is not understandable. Why should so much money be used only for allowances?", he asked when reached on phone, adding that the minister has not been clear on when taxes on petroleum products would be scrapped.

Mr Wilson Lehada Shilla, a programme manager for energy project based in Arusha, stated he would be surprised if  the MPs would approve this (one trillion shillings for allowances).

"This must be opposed at all costs and the money should be diverted to development projects to change the lives of millions of poor and hungry Tanzanians", he pointed out.

For his part Mr. Walter Maeda, director Golden Rose Hotels, Arusha had this to say on the one trillion shillings;

"This is very shocking. And if this is the case, the common Tanzanians would not benefit at all from the so called measures aimed to address spiralling inflation."

Enjoy Edwin's exclusive note;

''Africa for Africans, Europe for Europeans''

just as there are numerous ways to exploit, there are numerous ways to bribe the innocent minds. This does not imply that the Europeans are indeed awful, rather they try to do right things in wrong direction some thing that arise more inquiries than answers.

Since 19thc, during Trans Atlantic Slave trade, Europeans has been major foes for African development. To day we languish in poverty because of historical roots that stem from Colonization, Exploitation and today's Ne-colonialism.

During colonial regime, Africans were colonized through different methods such as that of Divide and rule. The Europeans employed this method as a weapon to dis unite and dwindle African opposition. The colonial government manipulated and enlarged the former mis understandings amongst the African tribes for their own benefits. In some instances, when two tribes were in dissension, the colonial Government magnified the enmity so that their conflicts might mature for their own advantage. Today, the condition prevails in a different way just after flag independence.

Let's talk of Libya crisis, many extravagant and murky and puckish cacophonies are loaming about COL. Gadhafi something that actually baffles me, as any other person who can reason out. The issue of Col Gadhaf to resign is a red line that cannot be crossed, only extremists whose innocent minds has been bribed by puckish tricks agitates  for this. Western states are after dis-uniting the Libyans by defaming Their lion-hearted leader and calling for his ouster. Probably might be true that these imperialists are after Sucking Libyan riches especially oil reserves and therefore, Gadhaf is doing what he is supposed to for the destiny of the Libyans. The French, British, Americans should cease their tricks and handle the matter to the African Union to solve.

For the case of Ant-Gadhaf rebels, they should not dis grace themselves by arguing many decades since Ghadaf's take of the country for it's better to be ruled by a single lion than a hundred ticks. Changing leaders for the sake of implementing democratic principles won't be meaningful if the leaders are not faithful and patriotic. And before doing all demonstrations, wooden stupidities, among other nasty things against Ghadafi, what did the Libyans lack? Better social services? Good and free Education?, daily bread? You lacked neither of them but only piece that you are lacking today because of our arrogance. By tracing to the history of many African countries that have been changing leaders at every decade, what did they have in special over the Libyans? Cold wars?, hard life, living in darkness?you did not belong to any of those but if you proceed the turmoils you will be in a red alert.

COL. Ghadaf had helped a number of African nations in their liberation movements. From Nelson mandala's ANC in south Africa to Namibia's freedom fighters, UGANDA'S Yoweri kaguta museven etc they all used his money and weapons. Also when Ghadaf was a chairman of African union, had almost single-handedly funded its existence (Sunday News Feb 27-2011) had he been a bad person could he do a such thing? By entertaining this kind of white intervention in our domestic affairs, will be a day dream for Africa to develop.

Remember the case of USA, it was formally a British colony from 1667-1776, but soon after independence, it enacted some policies for restructuring its economy. One among was ''Isolation policy'' which was spurred by George Washington as a president and Abraham Lincoln as a prime minister. The policy prostrated that, America is for Americans, Europe for Europeans, and concluded that America won't hesitate declaring a war on any power that will interfere her affairs. So this intimidation helped the Americans restructure their economy and eventually took a lead as a world's super power from 1870's.

Now for Africa, we are not powerful enough to declare wars on Europe, but if the need rises to the maximum it will be and this will start from Libya. It is not easy to understand when Obama signs an executive order freezing the assets of this Libyan leader, members of his family and other senior officials. Questions increases when these Capitalists remorselessly bombs Ghadaf's military bases and killing innocent citizens. Where were they during 1994 Rwanda genocide? Why not settling peace in Somalia? Apparently, Somalia as any other conflicting country in Africa has nothing beneficial that's why are given less time compared to Libya.

The Libyans should quit worrying about Gadhaf and the matter of solving disputes be left to five African leaders who had been proposed to sit with Ghadaf, this will work out than European inversion.

IT PAYS TO BE AN OPTIMIST;

                Enjoy edwin's note;
An optimist is some one who always look at the blight side of his/her life. optimism drives away all feelings of despondency that are the trade marks of pessimism. those who sight nothing but the gloomy side of life.

do not let self doubt-skepticism get in the way, expecting the worst to happen in a situation will some times influence an outcome certain that if you think negatives, you'll un-undoubtedly harvest negatives.

being cheerful helps! you dont have to feel dull and lethargic all the time. mind you, the more happy, the more life span.

ACCORDING TO HENRY BEECHER, NO MAN IS PERFECT; AND THIS IS TRUE IN SOME CIRCUMSTANCES, SINCE, WE AREN'T PERFECT, IT IS ADVISED ALWAYS TO ACCEPT OUR INCOMPETENCES AND BE EASY TO ACCEPT CHANGES.

. LFRED BICHUKA, THE ESSAY WRITTER, USED THE SIMMILAR TECHINIQUE TO WIN THE GOOD WILL OF HIS EMPLOYER .IT IS IMPORTANT TO MAKING GOOD ESSAYS FOR PUBLISHING PURPOSES, ONE OUGHT TO BE PRECISE AND VERY EXACT.. SAID BICHUKA AS HE NARRATED TO ME A STORY.( i can compare this story with the one i ever encountered in mr DALE CARNEGIE's  BOOK, TITTLED, how to make friends and influence peple.

some essay editors always complained for slight errors. one editor who was always delighted to find fault with some little things. i have often left his office in a disgust, not because of criticism, but because of his methouds of attacks. Recently,  i handled over a rush work to this editor and he ordered for me  at his office immediately claimming that something was wrong. when i arrived, i found pieces of my essays dumped on his table. he was hostile, gloating over his chance to criticise, he demanded with heat why i had  written bad essays etc, etc,....

my opportunity had come to apply self criticism. so i said '' sir, if what you say is true, i am at fault and there is absolutely no excuse for my blunder, i have been doing Essays for you long enough to know better, i am ashamed of myself''

immediately he took my side and started to defend me '' yes you're right but after all, this isn't a serious mistake.....i nterupted before he finished and said, any mistake may be coastly and are all irritating, you really deserve the best, so i am going to do this essay all over again.
no!!he queried, i wouldnt think of putting you to all that trouble, and praised my work, and commented he wanted only a minor change of arranging well the paragraphs. and that my slight errors did not harm anything, neither did it cost him any penny.

so my keenness to criticise myself took all the fight out of him and ended up taking me to LUNCH

any fool can try to stand for his/her boring mistakes.

lets admit our mistakes when wrong and with enthusiasm. this will produce awesome results

LOLIONDO MIRACLE CURE

A few years, months ,weeks, and days, we have had eye-witness of Babu's miracle cure, made from a natural known herb. babu's residence is Samunge village, Loliondo ward, ngorongoro district in Arusha region. according to his claim, he propagated the cure as a result of a dream from God. but since then, overwhelming number of miracle cures have out-cropped to copy-cut Babu's.

I and you are on a quandary whether He(babu) or his counter parts are real healers or just Bandits who are trying to harvest under the umbrella of a false cure.
